24 hours in Los Angeles, its raining cats and dogs. Two parallel and intercut stories dramatize men about to die: both are apart of a grown child, both want to be contacted, and the child wants nothing to do with the father. Earl Partridge son is a charismatic misogynist; Jimmy Gators daughter is a cokehead and waif. Mild and caring nurse prays for Earl, reaching the son, the police rounded up oracióny meets the daughter, is attracted to her, and leads her toward a new calm. Meanwhile, guilt consumes Earl's young wife, while two geniuses, one adult and a loser and the other young and pressured, face their situations. Time is also a special occasion. |
